Community Guidelines At Grapplers Connect, we are committed to fostering a safe, professional, and respectful environment for athletes and coaches. These Community Guidelines outline the standards of behavior expected from all users. By using Grapplers Connect, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent account termination.

1. Respect and Professional Conduct

All users must conduct themselves with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times. Coaches must uphold professional standards, ensuring their conduct is ethical, constructive, and free from misconduct. Athletes must engage with coaches in a respectful manner and refrain from inappropriate behavior.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in: Harassment: Any form of persistent unwanted communication, threats, intimidation, or bullying. Discrimination: Unfair treatment of any user based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any legally protected characteristic. Hate Speech: The promotion of violence, hatred, or discrimination against individuals or groups. Sexual Harassment: Inappropriate comments, unwelcome advances, solicitation, or non-consensual interactions. If any prohibited conduct occurs, users should report it immediately to jordan@grapplersconnect.com for review and appropriate action.

3. Honest Representation and Integrity

Coaches must provide accurate and truthful information regarding their credentials, experience, and services. Any misrepresentation, including falsified qualifications, deceptive advertising, or fraudulent activities, is strictly prohibited. Reviews, testimonials, or feedback must be genuine and free from manipulation.

4. Use of the Platform

All transactions must be conducted through the platform. Coaches and athletes must not attempt to circumvent Grapplers Connect's payment system or process payments off-platform. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings, avoid bans, or deceive users is prohibited.

5. Safe Training Practices

Coaches must ensure that training sessions follow safe and industry-standard best practices. All coaching activities must comply with applicable health, safety, and legal regulations. Any advice or techniques that encourage harm, violence, or unsafe practices are strictly prohibited.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

Users must not share or distribute another user's personal or sensitive information without consent. Recording or sharing coaching sessions without explicit permission is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use, disclosure, or misuse of personal data may result in account suspension or legal consequences.

7. Prohibited Content and Communications

Users must ensure that all content shared on the platform, including messages, images, videos, and training materials, is appropriate and relevant.

Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to: Violent or threatening material. Sexually explicit or adult content. False, misleading, or deceptive information. Spam, unsolicited advertisements, or excessive self-promotion. Coaches must maintain a professional and respectful tone in all communications.

8. Dispute Resolution and Platform Mediation

Disputes regarding services, refunds, or cancellations must be first addressed between the athlete and the coach. If the parties cannot resolve the issue, Grapplers Connect may, at its sole discretion, intervene as a mediator. Any decision made by Grapplers Connect as a mediator shall be final and binding on both parties.

9. Reporting Violations

If a user observes a violation of these guidelines, they are encouraged to report it to jordan@grapplersconnect.com. Grapplers Connect will review reported violations confidentially and take appropriate action.

10. Enforcement and Consequences

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in: A formal warning for minor violations. Temporary account suspension for repeated or serious infractions. Permanent account termination for severe misconduct. Legal action where applicable.

11. Updates to Community Guidelines

Grapplers Connect reserves the right to modify these Community Guidelines at any time. Continued use of the platform after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
